sigh... time to learn some financial planning... i need to think about how to ensure that i do not grow broke... one does wish that one strikes the lottery... >< haha!!! feels like buying cds, books, clothes, bags, shoes... erm.. practically everything under the sun if you think about it.. haha! oh well..

still thinking about the dorothy perkins skirt.. will just laugh at myself if i finally find it and realise that it is not as nice as i thought it was... hm.. but that does not change the fact that it would offer me more options for work.. haha! been looking at blogshops.. its so easy to click and comment whenever i see a piece that i like.. but NOOOOO... need to think about an item's utility.. sigh.. impulse shopping is so tempting.. but not healthy.. haha! oh well...

i should stop blogging about shopping.. both blogs have posts about them.. i bet pple think i have nth better to do other than shop at this rate.. i am just reluctant to open my office email... after all, today's a public holiday.. haha! whee! speaking about that, i should start doing some research for work..

speaking of that, how does one change all the contacts from an existing hotmail account to a new one? such that all the contacts remain? er... do i make sense? hehe...

was so touched when i realised that my fellow interns actually got me a present! so touched! apparently, doris and eve purposely did not wish me happy birthday too... hm.. haha.. valerie gave me a present too, earrings which i chose myself! =) to spoil myself, i bought myself a ring!! =) shall put up the picture shortly...

O WEEK 2006

retrenchment... sigh.. what a word... a premature end to the internship just because there is technically nothing left for us to do.. i guess we have proved our limited "usability"... this means that there is no pay next time... i.e. things i mentioned in the previous post are going to take even longer before i own them.. before i continue, lemme just mention here that i want to add one more thing to the list, namely, KOREAN F4 vcd/dvd!!

ok, more about retrenchment..
i duno.. its really quite sudden.. they did offer me a job BUT i dont think i want this to start off my working life.. i dont understand the emphasis on money.. maybe its the thinking of fresh graduates, the idea that job scope is more important than financial rewards.. sometimes i wonder when would they realise that sometimes financial rewards might really be a secondary issue..

there are really quite a few things that i will miss about this internship:
my fellow interns!!! sniff. they keep me happy to go to work...

what i have learnt:
i have learnt that i need to have a goal... its like when one does arts club projects, one puts in passion and determination to see their programme through to the end. but here,  i dont think i will see the same kind of satisfaction.. an ideal job would be one that challenges me, that said, challenge should be challenge in the right way.. meaning that the challenge should not be about meeting sales targets but challenge of improving something, organizing sth?
perhaps i am too used to the idea of planning sth thats why i hope to find a job like that.. financial stuff is really too complicated for me..
i miss sitting at home and catching up with the day's news.. i wonder how pple who go to work do that.. read on the train? easier said than done, have you seen the crowd on the train? nvm, i am digressing... 

working... no more pay.. goodness... no more shopping.. not that i even shopped much the past few weeks.. sigh...

training courses to come.. tests to clear.. and thats the end... i want a salaried job.. living in uncertainty is not a good feeling..

wants to kill myself.. was looking at some of my job applications... i applied for 2 jobs via this website AND then, it sent in the same cover letter for the 2 jobs.. i think L'oreal is going to think that I am very strange for sending in a cover letter that has completely no relevance to the job mentioned.. well done!!! someone pls call me for interview??

i should stop ogling at cute guys.. haha.. i think that i find a lot of guys cute.. this is not good..

uncertainty at work.. attrition rates of interns damn high.. HELP!!! worried.. oh well...

wants to do sth about my lack of job.. anyone wants to help? haha!!!

essentially work consists of:
- looking at restaurant city
- wanting to watch f4
- occasionally looking at my pet on pet society
- chat on msn
- look at facebook
- look at blogshops!

proper work:
- calling people up for interviews
- schedule interviews
- asking pple to fill up forms
- showing people into the interview room

hm.. such a boring entry.. yawn! i am bored..
